bootc images
Opinionated bootc images for my personal devices
Note
I typically update the image tag and drop the old version in the first month of a new Fedora release. This means only the version in the Containerfile is updated on a weekly basis.
This does not apply to the Bazzite image which uses the stable tag.
Usage
Fedora Sway Atomic
Install Fedora from the official Fedora Sway Atomic iso.
Rebase to the custom image with rpm-ostree but without verification. This is
necessary to get the right policy configuration and the public key to verify
this image.
sudo rpm-ostree rebase ostree-unverified-registry:docker://quay.io/cayne/fedora-sway-atomic:44
Reboot the system
systemctl reboot
Now you can rebase to the verified version
sudo rpm-ostree rebase ostree-image-signed:docker://quay.io/cayne/fedora-sway-atomic:44
Reboot to switch to the verified version
systemctl reboot
